Project:  Proposed renovation and extension of resident for vice chancellor-Shivaji University  At                    Kolhapur, MH, India.

 

Designing highlights

In this project, we renovated and extended an existing building. We redesigned the roofing system of the existing building and our client who is the vice-chancellor of the Shivaji University, Kolhapur wanted an office and conference room attached to the existing bungalow. While designing this extended building we used a green wall that helps to keep building cool. We used solar energy by placing solar panels on the roof, minimizing the need for external electricity.

             

Roles and responsibilities

 

This project was signed by Surat Anjali associate, and I worked on this project as the main designer and my responsibility towards this project was to intermediate between the client and the association. I managed all subcontractors, estimation and architectural services as well.
